Content
We work with you to develop key messages and content. Our team produces targeted content aimed at your patients, your surgery/hospital, your audiences and your objectives. The content includes a mix of video, animations and simpler static pieces – again created specially for your market. The In4Health channel content can include live news and weather feeds, and in London, for example. includes up-to-the-minute updates direct from Transport for London. The content is planned and scheduled with you to support ever-changing local and Department of Health communication objectives. Flexibility is the key – news changes and we want your patients to have access to information ‘as it happens’. Our software enables you to have fresh content at the touch of a button.
Local editing comes as standard
The In4Health service has been designed with the user in mind. Our software allows GPs/Trusts to control up to 25% of the content loop with messages that are important to their patients – local surgery information etc. You can access the system online, via the in4health website by a secure login process. Updates are immediate, with no need for phone calls, emails or printing.
Keeping the content fresh
We tie our information into the NHS communication calendar. Each new piece of content is added to the loop and tailored to your needs to keep the information fresh and relevant.
A typical programme ‘loop’ lasts for about 15 minutes and includes:
1.Four key NHS ‘hot topics’ , - Change for Life, Blood Donations, EHIC, Organ Registration, SunSmart, Keep Warm and Well in Winter, Smoking Cessation. The campaigns are from the NHS communications schedule. ,
2.Local surgery/Trust messages. Each client has six slots per programme loop to include information they feel is most important to their patients. For example:
The recent Department of Health Swine Flu campaign shows how a GP surgery or Trust can use the broadcast screens to communicate key messages and the interactive kiosks for more detailed information. The In4Health team responded within 24 hours of the campaign being launched by displaying this message in all of the waiting rooms of our GP clients. The channel will be a great tool this winter when outbreaks of the virus are predicted to rise.
3. Dynamic news, sport and weather. All broadcast screens are connected over the Internet by an ADSL line. This means that not only can In4Health monitor the system remotely, but also continuously update the news, sport, entertainment and weather information.
4. A joined-up systemAt the end of each 15-minute programme, patients are encouraged to use the interactive kiosk to source further information, register for campaigns or take part in a patient satisfaction survey.
